Media Planning Manager

As Havas Media Turkey, we are seeking an Offline Media Planning Manager to be responsible for:

 

  • Designs, develops, and executes media and advertising plans that support overall marketing strategy, message, and objectives of the organization.
  • Incorporates analytics into plans to identify the target audiences and critical customer touchpoints and to select the most effective messaging mediums and distribution channels for the organization.
  • Oversees campaign tactics and execution to monitor spending, manage budgets, control pacing, optimization, and timelines for all types of media campaigns.
  • Guides negotiations for media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Additionally, researches and recommends new media strategies, platforms, and channels to explore or utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement.
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in the area of specialty. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department.
  • Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager.
  • Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority on personnel actions.


Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate:

  • To be a Media Planning Manager typically requires 5 years of experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years of supervisory experience may be required. Extensive knowledge of the functions and department processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Offices programs (Excel and PowerPoint specifically), TNS and Medplan tools.
  • Ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams and agency stakeholders.
  • The ideal candidate will be mature, enthusiastic, committed, and analytical.
  • This candidate will also be highly organized, detail-oriented, service oriented, flexible, adapt easily to change, have a commitment to excellence and innovation, and an appreciation of style and design.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
